Be optimistic!

According to James Branch Cabell in one of his piece "The optimistic proclaims that we live in the best of all possible worlds; and the pessimist fears this is true." The pessimist sees difficulty in every opportunity; an optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty.
Loving life with optimism is simply living life seeing the brighter side of life. Optimism is an outlook in which one views the world as a positive place.

Pursuing everything at a go is not wisdom.

Like the saying goes, "Jack of all trade but master of none", this is an issue of ultimate concern amongs many. Commonsense will tell you that anything that ever turn out to be good by virtue of work, took quality time, quality concentration and quality support. Going through life with the mentality of getting everything at a goal is not wisdom, rather madness, because you will certainly turn out a failure in everything, but specializing your craft-- putting it in a scale of preference and giving them  attention in that order will give you speed in progress and help monitor your progression level per time.  Putting out your short and long term goals, been aware of them and giving attention to them simultaneously...

Never talk yourself down!

It will take eternity to totally exhaust the value of a man. Man is loaded with much goodness, blessing and potentials. But sadly enough, very few people knows this truth; this is why they talk carelessly and shamelessly, allowing their own words to keep them down. Words are very powerful and we must know this. I had to include the 'very' there to stress it's relevance. Words can make, words can mar. The exploits of positive speaking is in-measurable in terms of it's good, and likewise negative speaking in terms of it's bad...

"You shouldn't envy an unbeliever!"-- David Oyedepo

The President and Founder of Living Faith Church worldwide and a Patriarch of the Faith movement, Bishop David Oyedepo, shares a deep insight from biblical wisdom in one of his books "Breaking Financial Hardship, Pg107 & 108".
"...You should not envy an unbeliever. Do not care what he is or has. There is nothing that life demands that is not in God. All things that make for life and godliness are packaged in redemption. You carry the greatest treasure inside you; Jesus is His name!
When you start measuring your life with a sinner's life, it just shows that you need deliverance. By destiny, the world is to envy you. When you begin to envy the world instead, you have lost your identity. Your thoughts and attitude affects what you get from life".

Where do your inner strength lie?

Do you admire and respect strong individuals, who have overcome obstacles and difficulties and reached far, because of the inner strength they possessed? Most people are not born with inner strength, but it can be developed like any other skill. It consists of willpower, self discipline, persistence, the ability to concentrate and peace of mind.
To find your inner strength, you need to come in terms with who you are and learn how to value your unique contributions to the world. Take stock of your successes- no matter how small. Realizing you've made a positive impact on others around you will reaffirm your self-worth and build your confidence. Trust your inner strength, and it will only grow and make you a stronger person on the outside too. You'll be able to stand up for yourself and face problems head on- and come out even stronger on the other side...

Today is always more important than tomorrow!

In a literal sense, people see and expect a better future; they consume their mind to tomorrow's expectations. High hopes are raised on how they can meet their targets, goals, dreams and make them come to that life 'paradise' that they have dreamt in their earlier years. In as much as it is necessary and good to dream and anticipate for a successful life in years to come, we still cannot neglect the virtues and relevance of today's action that is capable of shaping our future-dream and expectations.
The truth is, tomorrow has no future if today is not checked. Your desire for a successful life in future cannot come to reality if today's virtues are neglected...

Tips to help manage your anxiety and stress level.

Stress occurs when you perceive that demands placed on you — such as work, school or relationships — exceed your ability to cope. Some stress can be beneficial at times, producing a boost that provides the drive and energy to help people get through situations like exams or work deadlines. However, an extreme amount of stress can have health consequences, affecting the immune, cardiovascular and neuroendocrine and central nervous systems, and take a severe emotional toll.
Untreated chronic stress can result in serious health conditions including anxiety, insomnia, muscle pain, high blood pressure and a weakened immune system. Research shows that stress can contribute to the development of major illnesses, such as heart disease, depression and obesity.
But by finding positive, healthy ways to manage stress as it occurs, many of these negative health consequences can be reduced. Everyone is different, and so are the ways they choose to manage their stress. Some people prefer pursuing hobbies such as gardening, playing music and creating art, while others find relief in more solitary activities: meditation, yoga and walking.

Isolation is the mother of stagnation- Make friends!

"Greatness is found with those you love. You must find it in them. You must focus on it. You must see them as gift from God to you. Everything you do not have, has been carefully stored and rapped in someone near you. Love is the secret map to that treasure. Your circle of friends can offer you motivation, mentor-ship, correction, loyalty or celebration. Nobody contain it all. Don't remain isolated and shy, get close to someone today and find all the treasures you've all been long searching for".

Do you ever learn from your mistakes?

It's never easy to admit you've made a mistake, but it's a crucial step in learning, growing, and improving yourself. You can only learn from a mistake after you admit you've made it. As soon as you start blaming other people (or the universe itself), you distance yourself from any possible lesson. But if you courageously stand up and honestly say "This is my mistake and i am responsible" the possibilities for learning will move towards you. Admission of a mistake, even if only privately to yourself, makes learning possible by moving the focus away from blame assignment and towards understanding. Wise people admit their mistakes easily. They know progress accelerates when they do...
