'what does your life partner have to do with self-esteem and self confidence? Everything!. The value that we place on our self is the type of person that we think that we will be able to attract. If we feel that we're not worthy, we will settle for less, or set our sites on a person who is not right for us.
Setting standards and abiding by them certainly makes you more attractive. When a person has no standards, it is no compliment to be their partner or lover. If we are hiding behind a mask, pretending to be someone who we think society will approved of, or that represents a script that our parents created for us, our true loves will not be able to recognize us. We probably won't even be in the same social circles'.
